How would it feel like for you to…
…Show up in the world with confidence?
…Use your voice to speak about issues that are important to you?
…Lose that doubt and pesky impostor syndrome and step into your brilliance?
You know you have a lot to say, but you don’t often speak up when it matters
You’re fed up with being interrupted in meetings (if you speak up at all)
You’re tired of feeling inadequate (in all the important ways)
You’re overwhelmed with all that is happening in the world and you want to speak up about it, but something is stopping you (hello impostor syndrome!)
You question your sense of worth and you wonder if what you have to say has value (it does!)
You’re not sure if you have what it takes to become the womxn you want to be (YOU absolutely have what it takes!)
Does any of this sound familiar?
Deep down YOU KNOW you’re wildly competent
You want to make an impact in your community and in your world
You know there is so much more you can share of yourself with others
You want to actually have the confidence to use your voice on issues that matter to you
You’re looking for a community of like-minded womxn who got your back
You don’t have to keep playing by the (obsolete) rules that were never created for us. It’s time to play our own game. It’s time we start becoming the womxn WE ARE ALL CAPABLE of being.
Introducing Becoming, a very special virtual gathering on
Aug 22 - 23, 2020
Womxn everywhere are taught to be nice. We’re taught to be quiet and not take up space. We’re taught that our desires, wishes and dreams are not a valid experience. We’re taught to stay in our lane.
These lessons we get from society over and over put seeds of doubt in our minds. They tell us that we are not worthy. They teach us that we are not enough. Most experiences womxn go through on a daily basis reinforce these feelings.
No More.
We cannot stay quiet any longer. Just look at the mess white male leadership got us in!
The world needs your voice and your brilliance now.
This two-day virtual retreat is a safe, authentic space for any womxn who’s ever dealt with feelings of doubt and unworthiness.
If you’re ready to unpack these feelings and instead, find your voice and step into your brilliance, you’re not going to want to miss this beautiful gathering!
Becoming: A Virtual Retreat for Womxn
So Many Womxn
I am Yulia, your retreat host and a published travel photographer and writer with work in magazines such as National Geographic, BBC Travel, and more. In the past year or so, I started thinking a lot about how I show up in the world, how I use my voice, and why is it that I still have feelings of doubt, insecurities, and unworthiness as a womxn who’s proven her chops and abilities many times over already!
Are Feeling
I also teach storytelling to other womxn and through this work, I've realized that so many of us are dealing with similar issues of self-doubt and lack of confidence, regardless of the accolades we have.
The Same
Our societies and the media reinforce these messages. We’re never good enough. We’re never worthy. We never have what it takes.

I created this retreat and the Genius Womxn community because it’s my mission to help womxn everywhere find their voices and step into their brilliance — not alone, but together with other incredible womxn.
I’ve helped hundreds of womxn build up their confidence and step into their dreams with more gravitas and less fear.
Beyond my coaching credentials, I was a US Navy Sailor and a corporate brand manager for over a decade at the world’s biggest consumer goods companies. I quit my job to boldly pursue my dreams four years ago and since then, I’ve worked with the world’s dreamiest magazines as a travel photographer and writer. As a womxn that’s succeeding in building her dreams, I want to show other womxn how that is possible and how we can start transforming the systems that keep womxn quiet and small worldwide.
I want to see more womxn finding their voices, stepping into their brilliance, and becoming the womxn they’re absolutely capable of being.
I want to see you soar.
You’re ready to start becoming, but you’ve got questions.
✓ You’ve read everything you could get your hands on about impostor syndrome
✓ You’ve watched TED talks on the way the world changes if more womxn have power
✓ You’ve tried sticking to daily affirmations
✓ You’ve talked to your friends and your mentors
✓ You’ve gone to events and meet-ups and looked for resources online
Now, you’re skeptical and not quite sure what to do next
You did all the things… but here’s the problem: they don’t make you act.
Watching TED Talks is great in theory, but it doesn’t actually give you any practical tools to start shedding your doubt, impostor syndrome, and feeling unworthy.
Think of it this way: you can watch a YouTube video about a Star Goddess yoga pose one hundred times, but until you actually get on the floor and literally spread your limbs — nothing will change in your body or in your mind.
You know what will kickstart change?
New Mindset
How we think about the world is how the world is manifesting itself. We all carry around an incredible superpower we’re not aware of — our ability to think in a way that makes us feel motivated to take action to create the world we want for ourselves. I want YOU to learn how to use this superpower.
New Practical Tools
Talk is cheap. We need practical tools to get us from point A to point B. This is a lifelong practice of getting better at shedding your doubt and sending your impostor syndrome on an all-inclusive vacation while you go out there and step into your brilliance.
New Community
You’ve heard that saying, “Surround yourself with people that reflect how you want to show in the world?” It’s easier to start changing your ways when you have a community of people who cheer you on and who are on a similar journey.
You get all of this with Becoming.
In this retreat, we’re going to unpack and debunk all the feelings that hold us back
During the course of two magic-filled days, we’re going to discuss feelings of doubt and unworthiness in an open, authentic way. We’re going to see how womxn all over the world are dealing with the same issues. And we’re going to get inspired to take practical steps to start stepping into our brilliance.
The retreat may be over in two days, but we will not be saying goodbye. Indeed, this is just the beginning: our community will continue to support you through this journey (you’ll have access to our own private Facebook group plus lifetime access to all workshop recordings!)
Imagine stepping into the brilliance you already are
By the end of the retreat, you’ll gain…
✨ Awareness of the inner dialogue that holds you back and an understanding of where it comes from (hint: there’s nothing wrong with you!)
✨ Ability to switch that dialogue from harmful to productive
✨ A new sense of worth and confidence as you shed your impostor syndrome with practical tools
✨ New practices and behaviors to guide you into becoming the womxn you want to be
✨ The conviction that you can DO ANYTHING because you have a new community that will stay with you and will continue to lift you up
But that’s not all.
You’re also going to learn from FOUR INCREDIBLE WOMXN who are Becoming in their own right.
Just take a look at our line-up!

You have questions. We have answers.
+ Who is this event really for?
Throughout my work teaching storytelling to other womxn, I’ve seen firsthand how many of us are working through similar issues of doubt, impostor syndrome, fears, and not feeling worthy. If you’ve ever felt this way and want to change this aspect of your life, this event is for you!
+ How much time do I need to commit?
We’re gathering from 11 am to 7 pm EST on Saturday, Aug 22 and from 11 am to 7:45 pm EST on Sunday, Aug 23. So consider this the weekend where you get to break your routine, connect with incredible womxn, work on your own stuff, and come out of it relaxed, inspired, refreshed, and more brilliant that you already were before!
+ What if I don’t want to be on video with other people?
That’s totally fine. We encourage you to have your video on but you will be able to turn it off at any time.
+ Your gathering looks great, but I can’t invest this amount right now :(
Think of this gathering as an investment in your future brilliant self. If you RSVP, you’ll have lifetime access to each session recording and access to our Genius Womxn community where we will continue to do this work and lift each other up. How much is feeling worthy, seen, and brilliant worth to you?
Plus, don’t forget that we have two payment plan options. You can RSVP through two monthly payments of $200 or four monthly payments of $100 each. I am committed to finding a way to get you in, because I believe this is an experience every womxn needs to go through, especially right now. Email me at hello@geniuswomxn.co and we can figure it out.
+ When is the next time you’ll offer something like this?
I’m not sure yet. I could offer it again at some point or never run something like this again. I’m creating this retreat now due to several requests of this type of work in the last few months. If I offer it again, it will likely be at a significantly higher investment.
+ I’m so busy with my life and work right now, Yulia
How much mental and emotional energy have you already spent worrying, doubting, questioning yourself and procrastinating? Straight talk #1: there will never be a good time for this type of work. Just a decision to move forward regardless of perfect circumstances (and when was the last time those existed?). Straight talk #2: your busyness can very likely be a shield you use that prevents you from taking a pause and looking your fears straight in the eye. There’s a reason you’re even down here reading the nitty gritty details in the FAQ...you’re tired of feeling this way.
+ What’s your refund policy for this event?
I know you invest your time and money wisely (I do too). I am not offering a refund on this event, but what I can offer you is my personal commitment to make this a transformative experience that will forever change how you see yourself and how you move through life. You’ll grow as a person and connect with other incredible womxn. That said, if you have a true personal emergency, we can figure it out.
+ I have another question
Send me an email at hello@geniuswomxn.co and ask away!
I want you to know what it feels like to step into your brilliance
Meet your retreat host, Yulia Denisyuk
Yulia is an award-winning travel photographer and writer with work in National Geographic, BBC Travel, and more, a founder of a small-group travel company that takes people to regions most plagued by stereotypes called NOMⴷD + JULES, and a founder of Genius Womxn, a community that helps womxn everywhere find their voices and step into their brilliance.
